How are we doing team??
Many of us are receiving ongoing news about Epstein + friends’ horrendous abuses and this topic lands personally for many of us, myself included. It can be triggering to witness how abuse survivors are treated — often unprotected, belittled, ignored, or attacked. Sometimes, the pain, shame and anger arising from those experiences can become internalized, instead of directed where it belongs — towards the abusers and enablers themselves.
This week on the podcast, our topic is power. You can imagine that we were a bit nervous to bring this topic up right now because we are aware of how sensitive it can be. The world is reckoning with power dynamics and abuse in massive ways, and it’s messy, important work.
However, I have found that sometimes, we want to say the right thing, so we say nothing at all. And then we can feel very isolated and alone in our experiences, and that doesn’t feel right to me.
We don’t have all the answers, but we know we are due for an overhaul in how we think about power, individually and collectively. We chose not to shy away from this conversation.
Instead, we intentionally orient towards reclaiming our personal and collective power from the harmful structures that take our power away so that we can build new ones that sustain health and life for everybody.
In this episode, Cassie and Pascale explore power, not as control or dominance, but as the quiet ability to stand rooted in who you are. Through honest conversation and grounded reflection, they look at how power can emerge from self-trust, community, and the courage to take up space in a world that often asks us to shrink.
What does it mean to reclaim your own power without losing softness? How can we learn to use power in ways that uplift not only ourselves, but the people and spaces we move through every day?

🌀Pascale will be joining as a guest teacher, bringing her gifts in the realms of ceremony, song, and movement!
🫂 If any of these resources resonate with you but you’re unable to attend, please share with someone who needs them! Word of mouth is the best, most human (and my favourite) method of amplification.
